Job Description


Senior Payroll Specialist

The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for the Americas, ensuring compliance with US federal and state wage regulations (FLSA). This role involves coordinating semi-monthly payroll using ADP Vantage, addressing payroll inquiries, and conducting audits to maintain data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll data timely and accurately, addressing payroll-related questions and errors.
  • Oversee the on-cycle/off-cycle payroll process and perform semi-monthly audits.
  • Handle garnishments, wage assessments, child support, spousal support orders, tax levies, and overtime for hourly employees.
  • Conduct quarterly audits of taxable wages and manage remittances for third-party deductions.
  • Research and respond to requests for confidential payroll information from external agencies.
  • Generate ad hoc payroll reports and assist with administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local payroll laws and ensure compliance.
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and HRIS systems (preferably ADP Vantage and Workday) to manage payroll processes.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of payroll experience in a corporate environment with 2500+ employees (exempt and non-exempt).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Excel for audits and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently or as part of a team.

Preferred:
  • Experience with ADP Vantage and familiarity with Workday.
