<strong>Job Summary</strong>

<br>The OSP Inspector â FTTH is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of construction activities associated with Fiber to the Home (FTTH) projects. This role involves monitoring the deployment of fiber optic infrastructure, including aerial and underground installations, drop cable placement, and customer premise connections. The OSP Inspector works closely with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure that all work adheres to project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.<br> 

<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>
<strong>Construction Oversight</strong>:

<ul>
&#9;<li>Inspect FTTH construction activities, including mainline and distribution fiber, service drops, and termination points.
&#9;<li>Verify installation of fiber optic cables, splice enclosures, cabinets, handholes, and pedestals per project specifications.
&#9;<li>Oversee directional boring, trenching, and pole attachment processes to ensure compliance with plans and local regulations.
</ul>
<strong>Quality Assurance</strong>:

<ul>
&#9;<li>Conduct field inspections to confirm the integrity of fiber installations, proper labeling, and clean splice connections.
&#9;<li>Monitor adherence to safety protocols, including traffic control and worksite protection during construction.
</ul>
<strong>Coordination and Communication</strong>:

<ul>
&#9;<li>Serve as the liaison between contractors, internal teams, and customers to address issues and maintain project timelines.
&#9;<li>Communicate progress and escalate challenges to the OSP Manager or Project Manager.
</ul>
<strong>Regulatory Compliance</strong>:

<ul>
&#9;<li>Verify that all work complies with permitting requirements, right-of-way guidelines, and local utility regulations.
&#9;<li>Ensure contractor adherence to standards such as National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and local ordinances.
</ul>
<strong>Reporting and Documentation</strong>:

<ul>
&#9;<li>Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, including as-built updates and photographic documentation.
&#9;<li>Track material usage, contractor performance, and any deviations from project plans.
</ul>

<strong>Qualifications</strong>
<strong>Education</strong>:

<ul>
&#9;<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.
&#9;<li>Associateâs or Bachelorâs degree in Telecommunications, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
</ul>
<strong>Experience</strong>:

<ul>
&#9;<li>3+ years of experience in FTTH or OSP construction and inspection.
&#9;<li>Proven knowledge of fiber optic installation techniques, splicing, and testing processes.
</ul>
<strong>Skills</strong>:

<ul>
&#9;<li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, splicing diagrams, and project maps.
&#9;<li>Familiarity with fiber optic testing tools, including OTDR and power meters.
&#9;<li>Strong understanding of FTTH-specific construction practices and industry standards.
&#9;<li>Proficient in GIS software and OSP management tools is a plus.
&#9;<li>Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities.
</ul>

<strong>Physical Requirements</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
&#9;<li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
&#9;<li>Willingness to travel extensively within the project area as needed

<strong>Certifications</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>FTTH Council certification or equivalent is preferred.
&#9;<li>OSHA 10/30 Certification is an advantage.
&#9;<li>Valid driverâs license with a clean driving record.

This organization is focused on scaling fiber broadband infrastructure and expanding residential, small business (SMB), and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) services across multiple regions.<br> 

<br>The Sr. Director of PMO is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects aligned with strategic objectives. The PMO serves as the central hub for driving critical initiatives while providing project management support across the organization.<br> 

<br>This role will have direct oversight of Enterprise, Construction, and IT project management functions and will collaborate closely with network development teams to ensure end-to-end project support and a strong market expansion pipeline. The position also requires regular executive reporting on major initiatives, milestones, and operational progress.<br> 

<br><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br>

&#9;<li>Recruit, hire, train, and manage program and project management teams overseeing strategic initiatives.
