FP&A Analyst
Boise, Idaho - Hybrid (3 days in office)
The FP&A, role with my client, is an exciting opportunity to build your FP&A chops in a high growth, dynamic sector. You will be a part of the core Finance team supporting a business in the Mountain West region, with aspirations to grow nationwide through acquisitions and greenfield development. You will serve as tactical, day to day business partner, establishing priorities to deliver comprehensive finance support to business teams including profitability analysis, initiative performance, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain my client’s financial model (including income statement, balance sheet and cashflows) and update it based on results and projected operating metrics
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial results summary (including budget to actuals and KPIs) with detailed commentary and analysis
- Analyze current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue, costs, expenses and capex, highlighting trends and analyzing root causes of unexpected variance
- For any acquisitions, integrate target company’s financials into my client’s current model, including preparing pro forma historical summaries
- Build and maintain pricing and IRR models to support critical decision making for business development
- Assist team in preparing monthly and quarterly Board materials, any materials needed for deal-specific advisory or financings, and quarterly packages for auditors and any financing sources
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, proficiency in QuickBooks a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- 2+ years of experience – Financial Modeling experience in investment banking or Big 4 or prior analytical experience in forecasting, modeling, or financial analysis a plus.
- Strong drive and initiative, ability to connect, collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Sharp analytical mind; strong appetite for analysis & control.
- Strong commercial acumen with understanding of key business drivers, both financial and non-financial KPIs.
