Oversee the preparation of international components for the quarterly tax accounting provision, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, FTC, APB 23, earnings & profits analysis, and foreign and withholding tax considerations.
Prepare and submit U.S. international tax returns, such as Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 8975, 8991, 8992, 8993, and 1118, along with the necessary elections and statements.
Assist the U.S. domestic tax team in preparing Federal and State tax returns.
Collaborate with the global tax team on transfer pricing documentation and studies.
Work closely with the global tax team to reconcile income tax accounts across international tax ledgers and provide necessary support for deferred tax balances.
Stay informed on current and emerging tax legislation, providing management with insights on compliance and provision impacts.
Analyze U.S. and foreign transactions to determine applicable U.S. federal income tax, and prepare technical memos to support and substantiate tax positions.
Identify tax-saving strategies and opportunities for process improvement; implement best practice changes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of U.S. International Tax experience within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm
Expertise in OneSource products (OIT required; OTP preferred)
Strong research skills for interpreting complex tax regulations to ensure proper tax treatment
Proven ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple tasks efficiently, and take ownership of projects
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and comfort in a dynamic environment
High level of attention to detail, with strong ethics and integrity
Strong organizational and leadership abilities, capable of driving and managing projects
Ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion
