JOB DESCRIPTION
The Laboratory Shift Supervisor will direct the daily operations of the Laboratory and act as a generalist performing bench technology duties providing coverage when needed in two or more sections of the Laboratory.
Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution or have state recognized certification as a medical technologist. Plus four (4) years’ experience as a medical technologist/med lab technician.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities/License Or Certification Preferred
- Master's Degree in science
- Certified as a technical specialist (ASCP).
- Two years of Supervisory and/or management experience in a clinical laboratory.
