Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in insurance operations and product development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, particularly in the development and launch of insurance products. This role will focus on leading the development of Business Owner’s Policy (BOP) products, working cross-functionally with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions that meet regulatory standards and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead complex projects from initiation to completion, developing and executing detailed project plans. Manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication to ensure project success.
  • Insurance Operations Expertise: Utilize a deep understanding of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims processing, policy administration, and regulatory compliance, to identify process improvements and streamline operations.
  • Product Development: Oversee the full product development lifecycle, from defining requirements to product launch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and test insurance products, particularly BOP offerings.
  • Data Analysis & Strategy: Analyze operational data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas to drive efficiency. Use insights to make informed decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating collaboration among cross-functional teams. Effectively communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to all parties.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively address challenges and obstacles as they arise, applying creative and strategic thinking to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Leadership & Team Motivation: Provide leadership to the project team, offering direction, guidance, and support. Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment to achieve project objectives.
  • BOP Product Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of Business Owner’s Policy (BOP) products, including coverage options, pricing factors, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements, to guide product development.
  • Customization & Segmentation: Work with underwriting and product teams to customize BOP products for specific industries and customer segments, ensuring appropriate coverage and pricing models.
  • Distribution Strategy: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective distribution strategies for the BOP product across multiple channels, including agents, brokers, and digital platforms.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all insurance products meet legal and regulatory standards by working closely with legal and compliance teams, particularly focusing on state-specific regulations.
  • Product Testing & Launch: Lead the testing phase to validate product accuracy and usability. Oversee the launch process, ensuring a smooth introduction to the market, and develop marketing strategies to drive product adoption.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims processing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in product development and customization, specifically in the insurance space.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with BOP products and experience managing distribution channels, regulatory compliance, and product testing.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
