Job Description
Job Title: Service Desk Technician
Hybrid/Remote Policy/Schedule (details): Fully On-Site, 8am – 5pm EST - after first 6 months will be on call every 5th week
Day-to-Day:
- Pushing resolution on issues and backed up tickets using Jira as ticketing system
- Troubleshooting / problem solving any issues for 1500 end-users (all the way from CEO to the Truck Drivers)
- Test and assess issues related to computer software and hardware, including operation systems such as Windows
- Document users request and update user trouble tickets with status of issue
- Assist users in maintenance of computer and other IT related hardware
- Assist in testing of new hardware / software and deploy the installation of all needed computers and devices
- Assist in creation of support documentation in a bid to assist employees in quickly troubleshooting of their issues
- Assist in configuration of Laptops, Desktops, and other IT related devices as required
- Weekly IT meetings – every Monday for 1-hour to discuss the previous weeks findings
REQUIRED
- 3-5 years of Service Desk Technician experience
- Experience using Jira as a ticketing system (if we aren't finding this, we can make it a nice to have)
- Ability to handle multiple tickets at once (supporting 1500 end user)
