We are seeking a Fiber Network Manager to oversee fiber network integrity, vendor performance, and installation quality. This role is responsible for ensuring high-performance network delivery and rapid response to outages and network events.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality control on splicing vendors and ensure network integrity (real-time and retroactive)
Oversee fiber installations, including backbone, partner networks, and laterals
Manage testing standards, vendor compliance, and post-processing of test results
Lead outage response, incident management, and postmortem analysis
Coordinate and execute network cutovers
Conduct route verification and ensure compliance with permitting and traffic control requirements
Qualifications
Experience in fiber network operations, splicing, or telecom infrastructure
Strong understanding of fiber testing, installation standards, and network performance metrics
Experience managing vendors and ensuring quality standards
Ability to troubleshoot network issues and lead outage response efforts
Strong organizational and analytical skills
