JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is in search of a skilled and demonstrated VMware engineer to become a part of their cloud division! The setup encompasses a significant array of virtual and tangible servers that operate on Linux, Windows, VMware, and an equally extensive SAN setup. The position entails enhancing processes at the system level and addressing operational and performance issues as necessary within the expansive context of a cloud service provider.
Hybrid/Remote Policy/Schedule (details): Hybrid 2-3 days/week in office but needs to be available to go to Data Center at short notice for emergencies
REQUIRED
- 5+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience (can include some Admin exp as long as 3+ years as an Engineer)
- Expertise in VMware NSX*****
- Experience with Tanzu
- Experience with large SAN and VMware environments (2,000+ servers minimum)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and with clients/customers as needed
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with VMware Horizon
